It is thanks to Lord Bagot that the building exists, he erected the building in memory of his late father.

Bagot Goat
This animal would once have roamed the surrounding area and parklands of Bagots Park/Bagots Bromley but Alas are now a rare breed and no longer found on the Blithfield estate.

6th Lord (Carol Ernest Bagot)
It was this Lord Bagot who gifted the Vilage Hall to the parish of Blithfield and Admaston in 1948.

Restoration work was undertaken to expose the beams and the false ceiling was removed. This also exposed the Bell tower.

Mr Hawksford was headmaster at Admaston School from 1865 to 1909.
